The first floor has one Scannx touch-screen scanner (under the stairs) and two flatbed scanners connected to the DSPS computers.. The second floor has three flatbed scanners. Ask at the Research Help desk on the First floor or the Audiovisual deskon the Second floor if you need help using scanners.
If the scanners are all in use, download a free scanner app to your smartphone. Instead of taking pictures, scanner apps allow you to save documents in PDF format, upload files to your cloud account, email, print and more. These are faster than the stand-alone scanners. Scannable by Evernote is a free app that works well with iPhones. Office Lens and Adobe Scan are popular for Android phones. There are many other free and paid apps available to choose from. Paid apps offer advanced features and are usually ad-free.
For advice on these, ask at the Research Help Desk (formerly Reference Desk).
